Stranger Things Season 5 is also currently in the works and will serve as the wildly popular sci-fi/horror drama's swansong. A second season of Wednesdaygot the green light in January, as did a fifth and final batch of episodes of the psychological thriller You. The streamer is also banking on several of its established hits to keep subscriber numbers up. Netflix is yet to announce an air date for the adaptation (titled Chosen), although a recently-released poster for the series suggests it will drop in the near future. A live-action adaptation of Mark Millar and Peter Gross' American Jesus comic book trilogy is on the way, as well.

The streaming giant has several high-profile shows slated to arrive between now and December, including Beef, a comedy-drama series headlined by Steven Yeun and Ali Wong and set for release in April.

The action-thriller series' strong opening week performance will no doubt buoy Netflix's expectations for the rest of 2023.
